Coach Holiday Accident

The client was on a coach holiday weekend. She was getting off the bus at the destination and the bus driver had been stood outside the bus helping the passengers off by putting his hand out for them as they came down the coach steps. The client started to come down the steps and saw the driver’s hand out. As she took the next step and went to hold his hand, someone distracted the driver and he moved his hand. Our client therefore lost her balance and fell onto the pavement.

The client suffered an exacerbation of an existing hip injury which resulted in her hip replacement being brought forward by a year. We obtained a four figure compensation amount for the client.
