Accident at Hairdressers

Mrs C

Represented by Amie Pinnell

The client attended a local hairdressing training academy at a high school. Her stylist started to lower a wall mounted heater towards the client’s head when a piece of metal came off the heater and hit the client on the head. Her head was cut and bled and she was taken to hospital but luckily did not need stitches.

The client sustained a minor head injury – a cut to her head which healed over after a few weeks but remained tender. She also suffered post concussion syndrome symptoms – headaches etc, which largely resolved within 6 months and it was considered should have resolved fully within 12 months. We were successful in obtaining a four figure compensation award for the client.
