Occupiers’ Liability
An occupier of premises has a duty under the Occupiers’ Liability Act of 1957 to take such care as is reasonable in the circumstances to ensure that a visitor to the premises will be reasonably safe in using them.
Therefore if you have been injured on someones property, for example a supermarket, then you may be able to claim compensation under the Occupiers Liability Act.
