Accident at a Housing Association

Ms C

Represented by Amie Pinnell

Our client was working as a support worker at a housing association, and was due to meet with one of the residents. When she entered the meeting room to set it up, she walked into a fire extinguisher which had been left just inside the doorway in her path. It had not been placed against the wall and was left sticking out. She hit her knee against the fire extinguisher and suffered an injury to her knee. The knee injury then caused her to aggravate her pre-existing back problems. We obtained a four-figure compensation award for our client.
