Slip at a Mobile Home Park
Mr A
Represented by Huw Thomas
In this case our client was a self-employed carpenter, visiting a mobile home in a mobile home park. On his way there, whilst walking down a grassy bank, he slipped due to the area being muddy and the lack of a pathway.
The Claimant sustained a significant knee injury which required an operation. A slightly unusual feature of the claim was that the Claimant was left with difficulty going up and down stairs and lived in a 3 storey town house with two flights of stairs. Provision was made within the claim for 2 stairlifts to be purchased.
Liability was agreed in the Claimant’s favour and we managed to obtain a five figure sum in compensation for our client.
