Going on holiday is supposed to be a pleasurable experience, and in the vast majority of cases it is. However, for some a holiday can be ruined because of an accident.

If you’ve been on a package holiday and suffered an injury, it may be possible to sue the tour operator in this country, particularly if the supplier of the services is at fault (typically the hotel or apartment complex). Whether you were injured whilst in the swimming pool, whilst on the transfer or suffered food poisoning you may be entitled to compensation.

You might also be able to claim compensation if you were injured whilst embarking or disembarking an aeroplane, or even if you are injured during the flight, for example, if the overhead locker hasn’t been properly closed.
